Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella

This book reminded me about the movie ghost. WE met Lara attending a funeral of her great aunt Sadie. To her surprise, she hears voices. She then realizes it is Sadie voice who has come as a ghost.

Sadie tells Lara that she is looking for a necklace and asks Lara to look for it. Sadie keeps on troubling Lara so much that she decides to look for the necklace. Also, Sadie keeps on appearing when Lara least expects it too.

Sadie is not the only problem for Lara. She has started a new company and her partner just leaves her to go to Goa. Josh breaks up with her and everyone is after her to do something about it.

But the story is not about just finding a necklace. Sadie and Lara form a relationship that helps Lara also. Lara meets Ed and it seems Ed like Lara. Or is it due to Sadie that this happens? It might sound that this book has a lot of ifs and buts. Dony worry since the story is not confusing.

It seems ghost have emotions. On a date with Ed,Sadie asks Lara to dance. before going on the gate Sadie tells Lara. Though Lara is not comfortable she does that.

The writing  style is simple. Book is huge and I wish the story was a bit shorter. The font in the paper bag edition makes the book easier to read.
